The carvers face off in outrageous challenges that test their creativity and pumpkin prowess as they sculpt gravity-defying scenes that celebrate Halloween and impress judges Terri Hardin and Ray Villafane.

In the series premiere, "7 Deadly Jack-o'-Lanterns": Their first challenge is to master the classic Halloween jack-o'-lantern and feature a dynamic use of light.

In the Quick Carve round, the competitors must depict the struggle between good and evil.

For the Big Carve round, each competitor is given one of the seven deadly sins to inspire their truly horrifying creation.

Elimination is on the line as judges Terri Hardin and Ray Villafane decide which carvers advance in the competition.

The murder of Helen Wilson rocked Beatrice, Nebraska, but no leads panned out.

Then a farmer began his own investigation, joined the Sheriff's department, and made arrests.

Six people were convicted of the crime and three even confessed. But one of the six, Joseph White, fought for two decades to overturn his conviction.

America's Book of Secrets with Lance Reddick 4

Hosted by Lance Reddick, America's Book of Secrets is a one-hour, non-fiction series that asks the intriguing question: What if there is a book that serves as a repository for America's most closely guarded secrets?

A book that — throughout time — has been carefully passed down from trusted hand to trusted hand?

This program tells the fascinating truths behind some of the most famous and infamous stories in American and world history.

Some stories will delve deep into the past, while others will be ripped right from today's headlines.

America's Book of Secrets goes behind the scenes to reveal never before seen stories, secrets and insights, delving far deeper than any "authorised tour" or "official report".

Exclusive interviews with historians, insiders and experts, along with news clips, original footage and CGI graphics help illustrate the amazing truths behind the many extraordinary stories that lie deep within the pages of America's Book of Secrets.

In the Season 4 premiere, "The Secret Space Programme": On 20 December, 2019, the newest branch of the armed services was established - Space Force.

But nearly two decades earlier, in 2002, a man named Gary McKinnon claimed he had discovered evidence that a secret military space program already existed... after hacking top-secret Pentagon and NASA computers.

Does this suggest that the US has a much greater presence in space than the public is aware?

Could we even have occupied bases on the Moon and Mars?

In the second episode of the weekly double bill, "Protecting the President": The United States has experienced four presidential assassinations, and two more assassination attempts nearly succeeded.

But how many more occur that never reach the public?

And how far do we go to protect the commander in chief?
