Throughout the season, Maureen and Dan will tackle pastel tiled bathrooms, wood paneled walls and laminate countertops to help families bring their homes into this century.
In the series premiere, "The 1950 House": Maureen and Dan tackle a couple's 1950 home and want to incorporate its retro feel into the new design.
The duo creates a plan to make the home current while preserving its history, but the homeowners may not be on board.
In the second episode of the weekly double bill, "The 1955 House": A father and daughter have been restoring their 1955 house for months, but the amount of work has been overwhelming.
Maureen and Dan help them find a way to save the beautiful features they love while opening up the layout to make the home more inviting.
