Ghosted: Love Gone Missing

The US reality show Ghosted: Love Gone Missing gets a local makeover, hosted by Shamiso Mosaka and Oros Mampofu.

The reality format explores the phenomenon of "Ghosting" - the practice of ending a personal relationship with someone by suddenly, and without explanation, withdrawing from all communication.

This is an innovative investigative series where our hosts will help distraught individuals track down and confront a former lover, friend, or family member in an effort to uncover the truth of why they ghosted them.

Each episode will feature a different story from the guests - "The Haunted" - who are each seeking closure from their "Ghosts".

Be sure to catch all the highs and lows of The Haunted and their Ghosts on Ghosted: Love Gone Missing.

The Great British Sewing Bee 5

Channel: BBC Lifestyle (DStv 174)
TX Time: 20h00
Genre: Reality Competition, Lifestyle

The Great British Sewing Bee 5

The Sewing Bee is back with brand new host Joe Lycett for eight weeks of brainteasing patterns, spectacular transformations and stunning made-to-measure outfits.

Savile Row's Patrick Grant and Central St Martin's Esme Young scrutinise every stitch as ten of the country's best home sewers take up a needle and thread and tackle everything from jumpsuits to swimsuits to evening gowns.

They are eased in gently with cotton fabric, but that doesn't mean it's going to be easy.

For their first pattern challenge the judges have chosen a Dior-inspired 'wiggle dress' designed to hug the female form.

It requires precision and accurate darts, and any diversion from the instructions could result in an ill-fitting garment.

Next their design skills and sewing instincts are tested in the Transformation Challenge, when the sewers are tasked with transforming three second-hand items of denim clothing into a single, stylish new garment in just 90 minutes.

For their final challenge, the mannequins are gone and replaced with real live models who the sewers must flawlessly fit with a made-to-measure jumpsuit.

Who will achieve the perfect body rise, avoiding the dreaded camel toe? Who will create clothes worthy of Garment of the Week?

And who will drop a stitch at this early stage, becoming the first to leave the Great British Sewing Bee?

Intervention 18

Intervention profiles people whose uncontrollable addiction to drugs, alcohol or compulsive behaviour has brought them to the brink of destruction and has devastated their families and friends.

In this series, addicts from every walk of life - from compulsive gamblers to shopaholics and drug addicts - confront their darkest demons and are presented a route to redemption.

Each episode culminates with an intervention in which the addicts are confronted by family, friends and a professional interventionist and given a choice to get treatment and help or face exile and isolation from those who love them most.

Anchored in the country's most infamous party town, Intervention returns for an all-new seven-episode season based in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The premiere features some of the most intense and dramatic drug addiction crises the series has ever seen.

Over the ourse of the season, viewers will get an inside look at the devastating reality of addiction and how the nation's ever-growing drug epidemic has triggered mass substance abuse for the residents of Las Vegas.

Interventionists Ken Seeley, Michael Gonzales, Vance Johnson (former Denver Broncos player), Dave Marlon and Leticia Murphy work against the clock as they try to help these individuals beat their addictions and educate the public on what it takes to overcome substance abuse.

In the Season 18 premiere, "Susan": Susan grew up in a devoutly Mormon household. As an adult, she suffered a back injury and was prescribed OxyContin.

Not only did the medication ease her back pain, it also numbed the memories of her turbulent family upbringing and a recent breakup.

She became addicted, and when her doctor stopped prescribing them, she turned to heroin.
