The DStv MVCAs are voted for by the public, and the nominee who earns the highest number of votes wins the Ultimate Viewers' Choice.

Man With a Van

This series looks at the dark cases where a seemingly innocuous man with a van has a far more sinister identity.
Far from being an innocent driver, he creeps up on innocent people, offering a lift when they're stranded, showing up outside their home, intercepting them on the road.
If they won't jump inside, he'll make the ride mandatory, and take them on one final, terror-filled trip.
Cases include the popular teen who disappeared in 1994 after getting into a vehicle with a man who turned out to be her killer; and the murder of a high school student, who was abducted from her home by a cyber stalker she'd met online in 2002.
Featuring interviews with the victims' family and friends, as well as investigators working on the cases, dramatic reconstructions piece together the fateful moments leading to tragedy.
In the series premiere, "Blood Mountain": Meredith Emerson decides to celebrate the new year by hiking on Georgia's Blood Mountain with her dog, Ella.
When Meredith goes missing and Ella is found 60 miles away, an all-out search begins.
American Horror Story: 1984

Set in the titular year, 1984, the season follows Brooke Thompson (Emma Roberts) as she travels to a remote, newly-reopened summer camp, known as Camp Redwood, to work as a counselor following a terrifying encounter with serial killer Richard Ramirez.
Those traveling with Brooke include preppy Xavier Plympton, athletic Chet Clancy, easy-going Ray Powell and spunky Montana Duke.
Upon arriving at the camp, they encounter its owner, the deeply religious Margaret Booth (Leslie Grossman), who was once a camper there, and who has her own experience surviving a killer.
Other residents of Camp Redwood include its nurse Rita, activities director Trevor Kirchner and camp chef Bertie.
Not long after the counselors settle into their first week, news breaks that deranged murderer Benjamin Richter – also known as Mr. Jingles (John Carroll Lynch) — who has a violent history at Camp Redwood — has escaped a local insane asylum and is presumed to be heading for the camp.
However, as the season progresses, more secrets unveil about the counselors, as well as flashbacks detailing the history of the camp, including Richter's abusive mother Lavinia (Lily Rabe).
In the Season 9 premiere, "Camp Redwood": In the summer of 1984, five friends escape Los Angeles to work as counselors at Camp Redwood.
As they adjust to their new jobs, they quickly learn that the only thing scarier than campfire tales is the past coming to haunt you.
