Survivor 33: Millennials vs. Gen X

This edition of Survivor, filmed in Fiji, is themed "Millennials vs. Gen. X" and features 20 castaways who will be separated by generation and forced to compete against each other with the same ultimate goal: to outwit, outplay and outlast each other.

Which generation has what it takes to win the game, be crowned the Sole Survivor and win the one million dollar prize?

Each group of 10 castaways possesses similar characteristics that represent their generation and help unify their tribe.

Millennials, the largest living generational group and most diverse in U.S. history, grew up in a time of rapid change and are often described as having priorities that are vastly different from previous generations.

How will this group fare without technology on the island? Will they opt for shortcuts in challenges or go the distance?

Generation X forms the bridge between the Baby Boomers and the Millennials and has been collectively labelled as hard-working and independent people.

Will they be able to find some commonalities with the younger castaways or stick to their own group? Will their differences and preconceived beliefs be too much to overcome?

This season's cast includes an assistant district attorney, a youth pastor, a police sergeant, a television writer, a professional gamer and the youngest player to ever compete in the game, a high school student.

Jefferies tackles the week's top stories from behind the desk and travels the globe to far-off locations to provide an eye-opening look at hypocrisy around the world.

His sharp take on topics such as immigration, gun control, big game hunting, the National Anthem protests and sexual harassment have pushed the host into the mainstream late night conversation.

In the upcoming season, the show expands its international scope featuring segments where Jim will explore themes like immigration, gambling and racism.

Not content to leave the investigating to a team of correspondents, Jim is one of the few late-night hosts who sends himself around the globe to learn more about the world we live in.

This year, Jim visits Hong Kong to find out if shark fins really give you sexual powers; fakes his own funeral with some South Koreans; and spends a night with the "ladyboys" of Thailand.

He also learns why millennials in Japan are too scared to date each other; strains diplomatic relations with North Korea at the DMZ; goes on a South African safari with a team of badass female rangers; and finds out why his jokes could land him in jail in Singapore.

Border Force USA: The Bridges

Over half of America's southern border is created by the Rio Grande, a murky brown river that snakes its way between Texas and Mexico.

A total of 28 bridges cross the river, linking the United States and its southern neighbour.

Every day 250,000 people, 12,000 cargo trucks and 5,000 railroad cars cross the bridges for a multitude of reasons. Some legal – and some not.

The Department of Homeland Security division responsible for the bridges is CBP – Customs and Border Protection.

For the first time, a TV production company has been granted unrestricted access to these bridges, the processes and the technology that the CBP deploys on its mission to keep America safe.
