The Son 2

Based on Philipp Meyer's New York Times best-selling and Pulitzer Prize finalist novel of the same name, Season 2 of The Son concludes the journey of the iconic "First Son of Texas."

Eli McCullough (Pierce Brosnan) will stop at nothing to secure his legacy against the backdrop of the nascent oil industry of 1917. His tools are deceit, fraud and murder — weapons he wields with the effortless skill of the Comanche warrior he once was.

But the biggest challenge he faces will be quelling a civil war under his own roof, triggered by his idealistic son Pete. Eli knows the ultimate prize of American dynasty is nearly in his grasp, and time is running out.

Meanwhile, in 1851, young Eli is now married and a respected warrior among the Comanches, but tragedy forces him into a leadership position as the vast Comanche empire crumbles around him.

Broadening the scope, a 1988 timeline is introduced, bringing the McCullough saga into the more immediate past. Here, at age 85, Eli's granddaughter Jeanne Anne is confronted with a long-buried family secret.

The First 48 22

The First 48 22

The First 48 follows homicide detectives during these initial critical hours as they race against time to solve their cases.

The hour-long program follows various detectives of a few select homicide teams as they track breaking cases – each with a running clock that builds pace as the 48 hours inexorably expires.

In the new season detectives solve multiple cases in New Orleans, such as murders of a young transgender female and a young hip-hop promoter.

In the Season 22 premiere, "For A Friend, The Last Gamble": an Atlanta teenager is killed when he steps in front of a gunman to save his friend. Plus, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a man is shot dead and left in a church car park when he tries to sell a stolen car.

Homicide Hunter 7

Lt. Joe Kenda spent 23 years in the Colorado Springs Police Department, where he amassed a lifetime of memories catching killers and helping solve close to 400 homicide investigations.

The vivid memories are brought back to life in this hour-long series, as Kenda reopens his "Murder Books", folders in which every detail of his murder cases are held, to revisit the most disturbing cases still haunting him today.

As he details the process of how he solved the crimes, Kendra also embarks on a personal journey, coming to terms with long-suppressed nightmares.

In the Season 7 premiere, "My Second Case": Lieutenant Joe Kenda is called in to solve the second homicide case of his career. Along the way, the rookie detective learns a painful lesson.
