Follows five couples as they decide to make a life-long commitment and get married in the face of staunch opposition from their family and friends.

They are all striving to show doubtful loved ones how differences in culture, religion, age and sexual preference do not affect their ability to love and be loved. As they announce their engagements and meet the in-laws, emotions run high.

Will familial pressure impact their upcoming nuptials, or will the love of a potential spouse outweigh the love of family? Will they go through with the weddings if family members ultimately don't approve?

An epic story of love, injustice, redemption and hope, set in 1815, when France had been defeated at the battle of Waterloo. Convict Jean Valjean (Dominic West) is released by the ambitious prison guard Javert (David Oyelowo), after serving 19 years.

Once Valjean is released, he remains haunted by his past and struggles to forget life as an ex-convict. When he meets the wise bishop of Digne (Derek Jacobi), he wonders about what life he wishes to lead.

Meanwhile, in Paris, the beautiful seamstress Fantine meets the charming Felix, she too must decide her future. But will her naivety be her undoing?
 

Escape at Dannemora

Based on the stranger-than-fiction prison break in upstate New York in the summer of 2015 which spawned a statewide manhunt for two convicted murderers, aided in their escape by a married female prison employee who carried on months-long affairs with both men.

Benicio Del Toro plays convicted murderer Richard Matt, an artistic yet intimidating force within the prison, who masterminds the escape.

Patricia Arquette plays Tilly Mitchell, a working class wife and mother who supervises the prison tailor shop and becomes sexually involved with both men, ultimately agreeing to hide hacksaw blades in frozen hamburger meat to help them get out.

Following the dissolution of Oxford City Police and the merging with Thames Valley Constabulary at the end of the last season, the latest instalment is set in 1969 and picks up with the team dispersed as they find their feet in their various new roles.

However, despite their separation, the tragic murder of DC George Fancy still hangs over them both collectively and individually, with the case remaining unresolved.

With their new positions also come new colleagues and responsibilities. Thursday must adjust to working with new boss DI Ronnie Box and junior DS Alan Jago. Meanwhile, Joan has settled back in Oxford and is training to work in social services under the mentor of new manager Viv Wall.

It's been over 20 years since the movie Boomerang first hit the cinemas. The new generation Boomerang is a half-hour comedy show produced by Halle Berry and like the original movie, starring Eddie Murphy and Halle Berry.

Just like the movie, the scenes in the series are also fuelled with romance, friendship, gender politics and love.

The series follows the lives of the children from the original cast as they try to tackle "adulting" as young professionals trying to make their mark on the professional world, all while navigating personal struggles.
