Bride By Design

Channel: Real Time (DStv 155)
TX Time: 21h00
Genre: Reality

Ever wanted a custom dress made to exact specifications? This series follows Heidi Elnora, an exclusive wedding dress designer in Alabama.

Heidi designs both custom gowns as well as her unique "Build a Bride" line, which allows brides to design their own unique dress by mixing and matching add on pieces to a basic gown. It gives them a specially made bespoke dress without the usual expensive price tag.

This kind of personal care and attention isn't just a bonus - it's one of the main reasons customers come to her shop.

The Gong Show 2

Channel: M-Net (DStv 101)
TX Time: 17h00
Genre: Game Show, Talent Search, Variety

Mike Myers stars as the show's host - British comedic legend Tommy Maitland - in this irreverent talent show which celebrates unusually talented and unique performers on a primetime stage.

A revolving panel of judges featuring Hollywood stars praise, critique and gong contestants. Most performers will go home with their unique talent that only a mother can love, but each week, the winning act with the highest judges' score will receive "The Gong Show" trophy and a cheque.

This season promises to bring in even more big-name judges and a new gaggle of contestants who are unafraid to showcase their awesome yet quirky routines.

Bumping Mics with Jeff Ross & Dave Attell

Channel: Netflix South Africa
TX Time: 00h01, all episodes

Veteran comedians Jeff Ross and Dave Attell roast each other, the audience and special guests.

When Jeff Ross and Dave Attell take the stage, no one is safe. With the help of special guests, they're packing a lot of laughs into one epic weekend.

Almost News with Chester Missing

Channel: e.tv
TX Time: 22h30
Genre: Comedy, Current Affairs, Talk Show

This satirical news show takes an irreverent look at the current affairs landscape and put high-profile politicians through their paces in interviews - with a puppet.

Chester Missing is, of course, delighted: "I have my own TV show. I'm a puppet. Have any of you realised how crazy this is? Someone tell Hlaudi. He broke ground for puppets everywhere."

The show was conceived as a build-up to the elections next year, and Chester (controlled by comedian Conrad Koch) will always have the last word: "You thought the elections were going to be serious? Ridiculous! Almost News with Chester Missing will solve that, comrades. We will bring you 24 minutes of 100% undiluted tjatjaragness, every single week."
