Later she became a student and a teacher at the North West Arts Council's Dance Academy where she danced in various productions. At 19 Lorcia won the FNB Vita Best Female Dancer Award.

From January to March 2008 she was a judge on kykNET's reality dance competition Dans! Dans! Dans!.

She was one of the judges - and the choreographer - of the M-Net reality talent competition High School Musical: Spotlight South Africa, from August to September, 2008.
