Bio
Esmeralda Bihl is a South African actress who has appeared in numerous television shows, including Yizo Yizo 2, Generations, Justice For All, Onder Draai Die Duiwel Rond, Behind The Badge and Sorted.
She also played the role of Faye Becker in the kykNET (formerly M-Net) soapie Binnelanders, from 2009-2013; and starred in the SABC2 variety comedy show Colour TV, in 2011.
After studying drama, Esmeralda landed the lead role in SABC's drama series Vierspel, in 1994. Other television credits include presenting the Afrikaans music show Geraas, Song vir Katryn and Thetha Msawawa.
Her theatre roles include Athol Fugard's Valley Song and the lead in Janet Suzman's The Cherry Orchard at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre in the UK. She has also appeared in the films God is African and Blood On Our Hands.
