Nimrod Nkosi is a South African television presenter and actor best known for presenting the live Lotto draw on e.tv and SABC2 and for hosting the youth variety show Jam Alley. He began his career in 1994 with a role on the drama series U Bambo Lwami, which he followed up with a role on the Afrikaans rugby drama Pale Toe. After that he had a five-year stint as presenter on Jam Alley, for which he won two Avanti awards as Best Presenter. Other roles include The Last Hope for the SABC1 as well as a supporting role in Soul City; and the role of Hector on the e.tv soapie Scandal!. He also hosted the late night Saturday show Your Late Mate on Soweto TV. In 2007 he began hosting - with former Miss South Africa Vanessa Carreira - the Lotto game show Raise Your Game, which took place directly after the Lotto draw on a Wednesday night. The couple moved with the Live Lotto Draw went it went to SABC2 in 2009. From 2011-2012 he had a recurring role as Norman Sebeka on the M-Net soap opera The Wild. In January 2013 he began hosting the Gospel-themed show John 14 on the DStv channel Mzansi Magic Music, in which he visited viewers' houses where they cooked for him and gave testaments of their faith. In 2015 he replaced Zola as the host of the Mzansi Magic docu-reality series Utatakho. He was also a guest contestant in the second season of the e.tv game show I Love South Africa.
