Coming up on
Generations: The Legacy in November 2025:
Sparky Xulu as (take a deep breath!) Sotshalomtimande Ngwenya.
Kea's old flame and new snuggle associate.
They're going to meet-up in the world of bizzness, he's going to flash his big wallet and it reignites their chemistry.
They become... Keamande.
The snag. He has a wife.
And he's emotionally unavailable so Kea could be in for a rough ride.
We got our TVSA clutches on the inside scoop on his character and
this is who he is:
Sotshalomtimande holds himself to a high standard and expects others around him to do the same.
He comes from a good middle class family and he's true to his words, even if he’s wrong.
He has a BComm in Finance and the rest is self-taught. He's intelligent in aligning himself with anything that elevates him businesswise.
He left South Africa for 10 years or so and travelled from country to country working in hotels so he could master business and learn how to take risks.
He’s not a tenderpreneur but he saw a gap, aligned himself with those who can help him, and absorbed information, skills and investment from those who were willing.
He has a captivating presence and enjoys keeping people guessing about his true feelings and intentions.
He is often aloof and keeps his cool, even in dramatic situations and also demonstrates a tendency towards narcissism, emotional unavailability, and has a tendency to prioritize his own needs.
Red flag alert! He loves himself more than he loves others - including his wife:
Played by Palesa Sefako.
On the surface, Sotcha's a guy who will never put anyone down. He’ll prop you up and make you feel special. He's the type of guy you can't help but like, even as he's wrapping you around his little finger.
But don’t expect him to give you his heart. He guards that in a very intellectual way. Some say he's calculated.
But one has to be worthy for him to give his heart and soul to you. Will he give it to Kea?
Sparky has this to say about being on the show:
Sparky: “It’s so surreal and definitely a huge accomplishment off my bucket list to be honest. And what’s even crazier is that I get to share the screen with some of the characters I grew up watching.
It is a blessing for me to be welcomed in the way I was by everyone, and the care and patience of my co-stars have been one of my highlights.
I feel like a kid in a candy store, honestly, like it ACTUALLY happened.”
Did you know?

Sparky's full name also has 16 letters in it: Zenzelisphesihle.

He's a dancer too.

He starred as Siya Phakathwayo on the three seasons of S3's The Estate.
