A Very Royal Scandal

One night. One hour. One interview that sent shockwaves around the globe.

Based on the real-life 2019 interview between Emily Maitlis and Prince Andrew over the scandalous accusations he faced regarding his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein and Virginia Giuffre.

A Very Royal Scandal follows the action of Maitlis and Prince Andrew in the lead-up to the interview, the groundbreaking event itself and the many questions left in its wake that would change their lives forever.

The series stars Michael Sheen as Prince Andrew and Ruth Wilson as journalist Emily Maitlis, diving deep into the lead-up, execution and aftermath of their BBC interview on Newsnight.

This dramatic retelling follows Maitlis' personal and professional journey leading to the explosive interview that forever altered the public perception of Prince Andrew.

The series examines not only the intense media scrutiny surrounding the Duke of York but also the broader impact on both Maitlis and Prince Andrew's lives.

They should bring The Estate season 4 series finale and ends in 130 episodes because season 3 did not end well and they say it was taking a break. The Estate season 4 should come for the final run in 2025
