Ghosts 2

Alison and Mike, a cash-strapped young couple struggling to buy their first home, think their prayers are answered when a distant relative bequeaths them a sprawling country estate.

The catch? The old house is haunted by the ghosts of its former inhabitants.

The restless spirits, horrified that the new owners plan to turn the peaceful pile into a bustling hotel, make plans to oust the troublesome newcomers.

But their bungled efforts have unintended consequences...

Fate intervenes when Alison has an accident which bestows her with a unique gift.

As the doors of crumbling country mansion Button House creak open once more, the haphazard house share between its living inhabitants and its restless dead is settling into a strange kind of daily routine.

But cash-strapped Alison and Mike's plan to transform their unexpected inheritance into a bustling luxury hotel is still a distant dream.

Could the exploitation of their troupe of ghostly housemates bring in the funds they need - or are they setting themselves up for even more chaos?

This season Alison and Mike are trying to find a semi-harmonious routine with the ghostly housemates of Button House: the ghosts have found a way to make their new situation work for them, while the couple are working towards a new money-making venture to fund the house's never-ending renovations.

Without the money to continue the extensive building work and the hotel still a distant dream, Alison and Mike decide to try to rent the place out for events.

In the Season 2 premiere, "The Grey Lady": The fragile harmony at Button House is broken when a ghostly photograph goes viral, forcing Mike and Alison to try a new way of making money.
