Chasing the Sun 2

The sequel to Chasing the Sun, the story of the Springboks' incredible triumph to capture the 2019 Rugby World Cup, will bring to life the awe-inspiring world title defence during the 2023 edition in France.

Chasing the Sun 2 will detail the blood, sweat and sacrifices that formed the Springboks' triumphant campaign at the 2023 Rugby World Cup, which culminated in victory against traditional foe New Zealand's All Blacks in the final, and becoming the first four-time winners.

More than rugby, Chasing the Sun 2 transcends the four corners of the field and touches the hearts of all South Africans and, much like the world champion Springboks, gives hope and inspiration to a country known to triumph against all odds.

It's a story of South Africa's pride and passion, diversity and determination, of hope and humility, and, ultimately, resilience and perseverance.

It's also a celebration of excellence, of the joy that comes from victory, following years of hard work and unrelenting endeavour.

Watch the drama unfold as you hear stories from double World Cup-winning Springboks and many more people who made the journey unforgettable.
