Midsomer Murders 14

Barnaby and Jones fight more crime in the beautiful but deadly villages and valleys of Midsomer, in four new episodes of Midsomer Murders.

New age druids, spring fayres, a nunnery and a bird-watching society are the unusual backdrops for murder and mayhem as the peaceful countryside once again becomes disrupted by chaos and police investigation.

Neil Dudgeon returns as DCI John Barnaby with Jason Hughes as DS Ben Jones.

Tamzin Malleson (Teachers, Bodies) joins the cast as no-nonsense new pathologist Dr Kate Wilding, with Fiona Dolman as Barnaby's wife, Sarah, the head teacher at Causton Comprehensive School.

In the Season 14 premiere, "Death in the Slow Lane": New DCI John Barnaby arrives in Midsomer and is bemused by the quaint villages and their quirky residents.

But when a local DJ is crushed to death at a traditional girls' boarding school, he soon discovers that murder and deception are never far away.

Star 2

The story of three girls' rise to fame, Star's first season ended on the heels of a victory, as the singing trio caught its first big break - winning Atlanta NextFest.

Heading into Season 2, one thing is clear: their lives will never be the same. It's a whole new world for the girls, as Star, Alexandra and Simone prepare for their next career move, with help and guidance from Carlotta (Queen Latifah), the group's new manager.

Having entered into a deal with Midtown Sound, the girls and Carlotta must contend with upheavals at their new label. Meanwhile, after a harrowing stint in prison, Cotton must find a way to re-enter society as a convicted felon.

And, with Derek facing the possibility of never walking again, Alexandra must work to keep their romance alive, while balancing her own career goals.

Finally, the fate of Jahil remains decidedly unclear, following last season's shocking and explosive finale.

In the Season 2 premiere, "The Winner Takes It All", while still dealing with the repercussions of Hunter's death, Star goes to great lengths to assure that the group gets a release date for their album.

A frustrated Simone struggles with bullying and Alexandra moves in with Derek despite the hardships they've experienced.
