It's almost time for the premiere of Mzansi Magic's Umkhokha spin-off Umkhokha: The Curse.

As we mentioned here, it replaces DiepCity on 6 March at 20h30 and follows events leading up to the 13-part series which originally aired on the channel in late 2021.

If you missed it or need a reminder of what it was about, you'll find everything you need to know here: TVSA Umkhokha Show Page

This new telenovela explores how and when all that begin.

How did the mega-church, Ithempeli Lenkosi, become a deadly battleground?

On the casting front: Deli Malinga, Sibonile Ngubane, Nay Maps and Hope Mbhele reprise their roles as MaMzobe, Difa, Siphamandla and MaBusi.

Daniel Hadebe and Gcinile Nkosi join the cast as MaNzimande and Reggie, replacing Sthandiwe Kgoroge and Mondli Makhoba who originally played these roles.
