Single Parents Looking for Love

It's not easy for a single parent to find someone - aside from what they want in a partner, they have to find someone who doesn't mind that they are raising a child.

And it's not just about someone who is comfortable with your child - it needs to be someone you can trust with your child as well, meaning you have to take great care in the dating process.

In Single Parents Looking for Love, each week one single parent goes through a series of challenges to whittle down four potential dates and to eventually end up with a new lover.

Hosted by Jo-anne Reyneke in her first presenting gig, the potential suitors will also face off with a panel made up of children who at the end will rate the suitors and give their parent feedback based on their interaction.

Channel: eReality (Openview 108)
TX Time: 21h40
Genre: Documentary Series

Secrets of Playboy

Secrets of Playboy explores the hidden truths behind the fable and philosophy of the Playboy empire through a modern-day lens.

The series delves into the complex world Hugh Hefner created and examines its far-reaching consequences on our culture's view of power and sexuality.

Unravelling the glamorous mythology created by the brand over several decades, the series features archival footage and exclusive interviews with insiders from all facets of the Playboy world, many sharing their stories for the first time.

Interviews include former Director of Playmate Promotions Miki Garcia; past girlfriends of Hefner's including Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Sondra Theodore; Hefner's personal valet Stefan Tetenbaum; Bunny Mother PJ Masten; Playboy Mansion West resident Jennifer Saginor; and members of Hefner's staff and inner circle, including his personal bodyguard and butler.

In the series premiere, "The Playboy Legacy": Hugh Hefner sold himself as a champion of free speech who created the Playboy brand to set off a sexual revolution that would liberate men and women alike.

But over the years he used Playboy to manipulate women to compete for his favour and silenced whistleblowers.

Great British Aircraft

Many consider the prolific British engineer Sir George Cayley to be one of the most important people in the history of aeronautics, as he designed the first actual model of an aeroplane.

It was a British man too, Sir Frank Whittle, who is credited with single-handedly inventing the turbo-jet engine.

Over the decades since, they have been involved with the design and development of such iconic aircraft as the Hawker Hurricane, the Supermarine Spitfire, the Concorde and more recently the Airbus A380.
