This series follows Mthandeni Sbusiso Manqele, aka Igcokama Elisha - the first Maskandi artist to fill up Standard Bank Arena.
He was given the title "King of Maskandi" by the legions of fans of his music.
Mthandeni is extremely passionate about the progression of the sound and bringing it to the mainstream of the digital age, being active on social media platforms.
He also launched an app and wants to grow this platform and further push boundaries by fully taking the music genre and lifestyle into the digital era.
A few years back Mthandeni paid lobola for a woman, but her family didn't approve because of his background and because he's a Maskandi artist.
He decided not to proceed with the marriage plans, but the situation was never resolved as they didn't officially complete all the ceremonies - by South African customary law, they are technically still married.
His mother has been in his corner and is a refuge for calmness in his life, although her only concern about her son is that he is not yet officially married.
However, Mthandeni has expressed interest in Isithembu (polygamy), so we will see where this leads him.

Ultimate Braai Master is an outdoor cooking show which features various teams of two, each made up of a Braai Buddy and the Braai Master.
The teams are given different cooking challenges and each week, the weakest team faces elimination.
Shot in the Nelson Mandela Bay area in August and September 2021, this season will feature contestants from across South Africa.
Little do they know that the braai motto "rain, wind or shine – we braai" is going to literally test their will to stay in the competition.
This year's theme is "Under Fire" because contestants are going to find it very hot all the time.

Set in the isolated desert of Winslow, Arizona at NASA's Moon Base Simulator, Moonbase 8 follows eager astronauts Skip, Rook and their leader Cap as they attempt to qualify for their first lunar mission.
While working vigorously to complete their training, a series of unexpected circumstances forces the astronauts to question their own mental sanity, trust in each other and whether or not they're cut out for space travel.
The series stars Fred Armisen (Saturday Night Live), Tim Heidecker (Tim and Eric) and John C. Reilly (Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story).
In the series premiere, "Dry": Stationed at NASA's Moon Base Simulator in Winslow, Arizona, three dedicated astronauts (and one football champion) attempt to qualify for their first lunar mission.
When the team is faced with a water shortage, an unorthodox solution leads to unintended consequences.
In the second episode of the weekly double bill, "Rats": Rook's video correspondence with his family leads to a serious case of homesickness that has him contemplating leaving the team.
Meanwhile, Cap becomes obsessed with catching a prowler and Skip comes up with some creative solutions to help the team suit up more efficiently.
