Killing Eve

Channel: S3
TX Time: 21h00
Genre: Comedy-Drama, Thriller

Killing Eve

Based on the novels by Luke Jennings and written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Killing Eve centers on two distinctly different women.

Eve (Sandra Oh) is a bored, whip-smart MI5 security officer whose desk-bound job doesn't fulfil her fantasies of being a spy.

Villanelle (Jodie Comer) is a mercurial, talented killer who clings to the luxuries her violent job affords her.

Killing Eve topples the typical spy-action thriller as these two fiercely intelligent women, equally obsessed with each other, go head to head in an epic game of cat and mouse.

In the series premiere, "Nice Face": Eve is a security officer at MI5. She likes her job, her boss, her friends and her husband, but she is bored.

When a Russian diplomat is assassinated in Vienna and Eve is given the job of looking after the witness, a casual bet about the identity of the killer gets out of hand, and Eve finds herself drawn into a cat-and-mouse game all across the continent, looking for a deadly, elusive and fascinating suspect, Villanelle.

The Split 2

Channel: M-Net (DStv 101)
TX Time: 22h30
Genre: Drama, Legal Drama

The Split 2

The Split is a multi-layered exploration of modern marriage and the legacy of divorce seen through the lens of the Defoes – a family of female lawyers at the heart of London's emotionally-charged divorce circuit.

Season 2 delves back into the world of a high-flying family of lawyers, where Hannah Stern is busy negotiating complex divorce cases whilst being confronted by difficulties in her own family.

Although Hannah and Nathan's marriage seems to be back on track, she hasn't forgiven him for his past indiscretions, and is continuing her relationship with Christie in secret.

With pressure mounting on her in her personal life, she meets a new client at work, TV presenter Fi Hansen, who is part of a celebrity power couple and is concerned about her pre-nup.

Meanwhile, Ruth comes to terms with a different pace of life, and Zander introduces an unsettling new colleague to the firm.

I enjoyed the Split season 1. Though I need a refresher on what happened but I remember enjoying it, hope that makes sense angel
S3 (SABC 3 right?) showing Season 3 of Killing Eve, did they even show the first two seasons?

I think S3 is just 4 sabc 3 and not season 3. I could be wrong

Loloh is right - it's Season 1 on S3 (which is what SABC3 is called at the moment). In other words, it's S1 on S3.

Oh yes you're so right guys, and it clearly says "Channel: S3"
Villanelle's wardrobe is one of the best things about this show
