The Serpent

Inspired by real events, The Serpent tells the remarkable story of how the conman and murderer Charles Sobhraj (Tahar Rahim) was brought to justice.

Posing as a gem dealer, Sobhraj and his girlfriend Marie-Andrée Leclerc (Jenna Coleman) travelled across Thailand, Nepal and India in 1975 and 1976, carrying out a spree of crimes on the Asian 'Hippie Trail' and becoming the chief suspects in a series of murders of young Western travellers.

As Sobhraj repeatedly slips from the grasp of authorities around the world, Herman Knippenberg, a junior diplomat at the Dutch Embassy in Bangkok, unwittingly walks into his intricate web of crime.

Knippenberg sets off an extraordinary chain of events that will see Sobhraj become Interpol's most wanted man, with arrest warrants in multiple continents.

Mad About You 8

The Buchmans are back!

Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt reprise their roles in this limited series revival.

The original sitcom ran for seven seasons from 1992-1999 and won multiple Emmy and Golden Globe awards.

The series will explore the fertile ground of modern marriage through the eyes of the Buchmans as newly minted empty-nesters after dropping their unpredictable, hard-to-control daughter Mabel off at college.

In the Season 8 premiere, "The Kid Leaves": When Paul and Jamie drop their daughter Mabel off for her first day of college, it quickly becomes clear that they have very different ideas of what their lives after children will look like.

Married at First Sight 11

Channel: Lifetime (DStv 131)
TX Time: 20h05
Genre: Reality, Dating Game Show

Married at First Sight 11

Married at First Sight heats up the summer in New Orleans for Season 11 of the relationship series.

Five new couples will take a leap of faith when they walk down the aisle to marry a complete stranger.

The episodes capture each couple's emotional journey as they go from wedding to honeymoon to early nesting to the daily struggles of working on their marriage.

After several weeks together, each couple must make a decision: do they remain together or decide to divorce?

Amelia & Bennett

Bennett, 28, grew up in Montvale, New Jersey and is the artistic director of a theatre company.

Bennett has sought a life partner for years but has been through a string of bad relationships.

Amelia, 27, was raised in Richmond, Virginia. With a doctor for a mother, Amelia always thought she would follow in her footsteps and is currently completing her medical residency.

Amelia subscribes to the idea that "you can fall in love with anyone-ish," and much like her grandparent's arranged marriage, she really thinks it's possible to learn to love someone.

Amani & Woody

Woody, 30, was born and raised in New Orleans where he is currently a teacher and coach.

Woody is ready to find a partner with whom he can share the love and kindness he learned from his mother.

Amani, 29, was born in North Cal, and raised in Chicago, but moved to New Orleans to attend college.

Amani is passionate about her work in the non-profit sector and aspires to open a non-profit organisation working with youth.

Amani is serious about finding a life partner to share career ambitions with, explore the world, and ultimately start a family.

Olivia & Brett

Brett, 35, was born and raised in Gretna, Louisiana. He recently became AWS Cloud Practitioner certified and excels in his career in IT.

Brett has always been ready for marriage and is definitely open to the MAFS experience since he believes, historically, arranged marriages have been the primary means of matchmaking for the vast majority of human history.

Olivia, 30, was born and raised in Bossier City, LA.

After receiving her Master of Science in Nursing and working in clinics in Iowa, she wanted to be closer to home and moved to New Orleans for a position with a comprehensive stroke center.

Having worked really hard in her career, Olivia is ready to dedicate the same time and effort in a relationship.

Christina & Henry

Henry, 35, was born and raised in Arabi, Louisiana. He currently works as a clinical recruiter and enjoys the career he's established.

Henry is looking for a partner to settle down with and feels he's tried every approach possible but has been unsuccessful.

The dating apps have been disappointing and his friends and colleagues have no one else to introduce him to.

Born in Houma, Louisiana, Christina, 30, was raised by a single mother and never really knew her biological father.

The flight attendant recently got out of a five-year relationship and hasn't put much effort into dating or finding a partner.

Karen & Miles

Miles, 26, was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina and has always been passionate about education and loves working with children and young adults.

Miles is looking for a wife but feels like his options are limited.

Karen, 30, grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and has been working as a consultant in New Orleans ever since she graduated.

Karen has been single for five years and finds dating to be quite difficult.
