Each season of this Oprah Winfrey-produced anthology series will document the ups and downs of a relationship between a single couple, capturing the everyday and the extraordinary, with each episode spanning 24 hours.

The narrative will unfold to reveal significant moments in a relationship that compel us to hold true to the ones we love, from the extraordinary to the everyday.

Chapter One stars Xosha Roquemore as Gently James and Alano Miller as Evan Fisher, a young couple who meet and fall in love in Los Angeles.

Emmy-winning actress Cicely Tyson portrays Miss Luma, who Gently lives with and cares for.

The first season will span five years and unfold over eight episodes.

And, still processing Sumit's shocking news, Jenny is back in the US and living out of a suitcase.

But, having made the decision to return to India to be with Sumit, will she encounter more problems with his parents?
