It may be better known for Disney World, white sandy beaches and sunlit retirement homes, but Florida is also home to the largest subtropical wilderness in the US.
Born out of the chaos of wild fires and hurricanes, it's one of the most biodiverse places in North America, where alligators, manatee and a unique sub-species of miniature deer roam free.
Exploring three Floridian habitats – the Apalachicola Forest, the Everglades and the Florida Keys – over the course of a year, this portrait charts the lives of the animals and people who call this land home.
With increasing urbanisation and extreme weather, these environments and their residents are under pressure.
Yet against all the odds, Florida's wildlife is thriving.
Escaping Polygamy 3
Lifetime (DStv 131)
Escaping Polygamy returns for a third season following Andrea, Jessica and Shanell, three sisters who escaped polygamy in their youth and now devote their lives to helping others get out and successfully begin new lives away from the only world they have ever known.
Andrea, Jessica and Shanell daringly left the Kingston clan, a polygamous group based in Salt Lake City, Utah, known as "The Order."
Since escaping the polygamous cult, the sisters have devoted their lives to helping friends and strangers alike do the same.
The path out of polygamy is not an easy one for those who choose to leave, from the often dangerous initial escape, to the struggle to adjust to a life isolated from their friends and family still in polygamy.
As more polygamous sects become aware of the girls' mission, these challenges have become even greater.
Groups have tightened the hold over their followers making successful escapes more dangerous.
This season, the many people who enlist help from the girls include a son of powerful FLDS prophet Warren Jeffs, who leaves the religion to find his mother who he has been separated from for most of his life.
There's also a mother hoping to find her daughters who have been hidden within an elite group in the FLDS community; and a young girl who desperately wants to rescue the love of her life in a dangerous mission that further exposes the dark and treacherous realities of polygamy.
In the Season 3 premiere, "Family Under Fire": Jessica and Andrea receive word from Jesse, a father desperate to escape the polygamous group known as the AUB, that all but forces their members into a life of polygamy.
As Jesse and his family try to escape, an explosive secret about Jesse's dark past in the group is revealed and puts the entire team in danger.
Suddenly everyone not only fears for the success of the mission, but they fear for their lives.
Two and a Half Men 12
Comedy Central (DStv 122)
Walden Schmidt (Ashton Kutcher) is a lovelorn Internet billionaire with an innocence born out of his lifelong dependence on others to take care of him.
After a failed attempt to drown himself in the ocean after his wife kicked him out, a suicidal Walden stumbled into a Malibu beach house, where tightly-wound, twice-divorced chiropractor Alan Harper and his underachieving teenage son, Jake, had been living with Alan's now-deceased brother for the past eight years.
With no place to go, Walden bought the house and invited Alan to remain there, saving Alan from having to move in with his narcissistic, emotionally toxic mother, Evelyn.
Walden asked Berta, a domineering, unapologetically blue-collar housekeeper who had been working in the household, to stay as well.
Despite his unsuccessful history with women, Alan unexpectedly found himself mentoring Walden, who had severely limited dating experience.
While Walden, Alan and Jake adjusted to their new living arrangement, they create a surrogate family unit that promised to make each a better man.
In the Season 12 premiere, "The Ol' Mexican Spinach": Following a health scare on Halloween, Walden decides to reprioritise his life with Alan's help.
