After touring South Africa in search of the hottest new talent, the MTV Base VJ Search has ended the month-long national quest and now it's time to see what went down at the auditions in this seven-part series.

Hosted by 2017 MTV Base VJ Search winner Tshego Koke, the first four episodes showcase the auditions that kicked off in Durban, leading up to Cape Town and East London, before concluding in Johannesburg.

During the auditions, hopefuls faced a panel of expert judges Thomas Gumede, Kelly Khumalo, Tol A$$ Mo and Boity Thulo, who had the task of handpicking the Top 25 , who will endure yet another trial as they attend the callback round where the final two contestants will be selected to represent each city.

Stacey Dooley Investigates: Russia's War on Women

Behind closed doors, Russian society has a dark secret. It is estimated that thousands of Russian women are murdered every year by their husbands or partners.

Domestic violence is so deep-rooted in Russia there's even a well-known saying: "If he beats you, it means he loves you". Despite the scale of the problem, in February 2017 the Russian government decriminalised certain forms of domestic violence.

Stacey Dooley travels to Russia to explore the reasons behind this decision and the impact the change in the law is having on women.

A rebroadcast of the 2006 series, a medical drama which showcases the lives of young doctors and nurses full of passion for their profession and the hope of a successful new hospital.

They live for their work but also have an emotional need for friendship, support, love and intimacy from each other in this safe cocoon far from the demands of another world they call home but hardly ever see.

The show is filmed in a working public hospital and is fashioned on real life medical cases with stories that seamlessly blend reality and fiction.
