If you're an entrepreneur or thinking of becoming one then I'd highly, highly recommend watching The Profit. I've watched every episode and learnt so much that I've applied.

It's crammed with advice on how to make a business work and it covers a wide range of businesses. The advice he gives to the businesses he deals with applies to so many other businesses so it doesn't matter if youve got a different business to what he's dealing with,

The show also has such a cool real world impact whereby the businesses become part of the fabric of American society.

How I wish we could achieve this here. A business show that has such a positive impact on South Africa's economy and business and people's perceptions of what's possible.

I hoped it would happen with our Dragon's Den and Shark Tank and I'm very disappointed and frustrated that they didn't. These shows have been so successful in other countries - there's no reason they couldn't have been a phenomenon here too.

M-Net did a lot that was right with these shows but there was also too much that wasn't.

As for The Profit being on SABC3... the SABC needs to watch the show too!! If they even deliver it tonight of course.
