Season 2

Living Single is an American television sitcom created by Yvette Lee Bowser which revolves around the lives of six late-twenty something friends consisting of four women and two men who share personal and professional experiences while living in a Brooklyn brownstone.

The series aired in the USA on Fox from 29 August, 1993 to 1 January, 1998. There are 118 half-hour episodes in five seasons.

Living Single originally aired in South Africa on CCV (which became SABC1 in 1996), ending its run on Sunday 29 November, 1998. It later aired on DStv's Vuzu channel. See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.

Season 2 premiered on Vuzu on Thursday 31 January 2013, at 18h30. New episodes broadcast daily, on weekdays. There are 27 episodes in the second season.

Synopsis

Bold, sassy and realistic, four upwardly mobile and very different African-American women share adventures, advice and an exclusive brownstone in New York City as they explore life and Living Single.

Khadijah James (Queen Latifah) has it all - a great job running her own trendy magazine and part ownership of a fancy brownstone.

Sharing the ownership of their home is her endearingly naive cousin Synclaire (Kim Coles) who's also Khadijah's assistant at the magazine. Cramping their lifestyle is third roommate, and sarcastic, selfish fortune hunter Regine (Kim Fields).

And even though she doesn't live in the brownstone, Khadijah's best friend Maxine (Erika Alexander) - a tough, aggressive divorce attorney who is always searching for Mr. Right - spends more time here than she does in her own home.

With love, laughter and a little bit of luck, four women in New York City on the threshold of the rest of their lives hilariously celebrate Living Single.
