Season 3
Tyra Banks and her bevy of judges return for a third season of finding the ultimate schmodel in the third season of America's Next Top Model.
The show features 14 new model contestants strutting their stuff for the title and prizes.
The prizes are:
- a $100 000 contract with Cover Girl cosmetics
- a cover and inside spread for Elle magazine
- representation contract with Ford Models
The premiere episode begins with an introduction to 34 semi-finalists. They meet each other and celebrate their semi-victory round a pool and then meet the judges in one-to one interviews.
The judges choose their 14 favourites for the show and eliminate 20 wannabes.
New to the show this season:
- 2 extra contestants (Season 2 had 12)
- an acting challenge
- two overseas trips: one to Jamaica and one to Tokyo, Japan.
- a new judge in the form of Nolé Marin who replaces Season 2's Eric Nicholson
