America's Next Top Model (often shortened to Top Model or abbreviated as ANTM) is an American reality competition television series created by Tyra Banks in which a number of women compete for the title of America's Next Top Model and a chance to start their career in the modeling industry.
Hosted and produced by supermodel Tyra Banks, America's Next Top Model pits sexy contestants against each other in a competition to win a modelling contract and various other prizes.
The contestants are coached in all aspects of modelling by stylists including Jay Manuel, Johnny Wujek and Yu Tsai, in a crash course boot camp which sees one after the other eliminated until only one is left standing - the next top American model.
Participants are asked to demonstrate both inner and outer beauty as they master complicated catwalks, intense physical fitness, fashion photo shoots and publicity skills, all under 24-hour-a-day surveillance.

America's Next Top Model is produced by 10 by 10 Entertainment in association with The Tyra Banks Company. The executive producers are Ken Mok (Making the Band), Tyra Banks and Laura Fuest Silva. The series was created by Tyra Banks and developed by Mok and Kenya Barris.
America's Next Top Model and the America's Next Top Model format are licensed internationally by CBS Studios International.
Broadcast Notes
The first six seasons aired on e.tv, after which the channel dropped the show from its lineup. The show was later picked up by Vuzu, beginning with the ninth season; and began airing reruns on the M-Net Series stable of channels from Season 19. The first-run rights moved from Vuzu to new channel Vuzu Amp for Season 20.
When the FOX Life channel debuted in October 2016, the channel began broadcasting Seasons 7 and 8, the only two seasons that had never aired in South Africa.
