eHostela is a South African television drama series set in KwaMashu which revolves around two brothers who - along with their father - run a powerful and secret organisation in a worker's hostel.
In the heart of KwaZulu-Natal, in KwaMashu township, there is a worker's hostel called Delakufa and within its walls is a secret which is spoken of only in whispers: The Brotherhood; a secret society of inkabi (hitmen).
This Brotherhood has operated in Delakufa hostel for years, masked in mystery and hearsay. The Brotherhood is led by the powerful Mancinza, with his son Jama and his adopted son Mndeni.
This is the story of these two sons, whose relation is bound in secrets and sealed by guns.
But can family stick together when they are not tied by blood, and what is the price of loyalty when you long to follow your own heart?
