Andy Mnguni is a South African actress best known for her starring role as Sindi in the Mzansi Magic drama series The Republic.
Andy has guest starred in numerous other television series, films and commercials.
She first appeared on television in an episode of the SABC1 educational series Soul Buddyz (Season 2, Episode 10), which aired on 26 December, 2002.
In 2005 she had a guest starring role in the SABC1 soapie Mzansi and she later guest starred in the SABC3 soapie Isidingo.
Her next television role was the character Nompilo, the main subject of a two-part episode entitled The Wedding in the second season of the SABC1 police procedural crime drama Mtunzini.com (Season 2, Episode 5, which aired on 7 and 14 February, 2008).
In the double bill her character appears to have committed suicide, until the team discover that she was murdered.
In 2016, Andy guest starred in a Season 2 episode of the Mzansi Magic drama series Saints and Sinners and later that year had a guest role in the SABC1 legal drama series Sokhulu & Partners.
Also in 2016, she played the role of caterer Mam Tsholo in the feature-length film The Lucky Specials.
Andy had a guest appearance in the Mzansi Magic telenovela Ring of Lies in 2018, appearing in Season 2, Episode 188 (which aired on 21 June, 2018).
The following year she landed her first starring role in television when she was cast as Sindi in the Mzansi Magic drama series The Republic. The series debuted on 7 July, 2019.
