Ilse Klink is a South African actress and singer best known for her role as Vanessa Booysens on the SABC3 soapie Isidingo, from 1999-2007, for which she won an Avanti Award for Best Actress in a Soapie in 2000.

She also starred as Fashion Week CEO Miranda Simons in the Mzansi Magic telenovela Inkaba, from 2012-2013.

Born in Cape Town, she attained her BA Drama at Pretoria University and started her acting career at the Performing Arts Council of the Orange Free State.

Theatre productions she has appeared in include Fiddler on the Roof, Maru, The Fantasticks, Hennie Aucamp's Blomtyd is Bloeityd and Slegs vir Almal, Amen Corner, Chicago, Rent and Menopause the Musical.

Klink has appeared in numerous television series including Tussen Duiwels, Molo Fish, Hagenheim Streng Privaat, Snitch 2 and Isidingo.

She was also lead singer for an Afrikaans alternative rock band called Ekstra Dik (Extra Thick).

In 2015 she had a starring role as Tamara van Niekerk, a dance teacher in Verloren who has been hiding a dark secret for years, in the SABC3 drama series Roer Jou Voete (Move Your Feet).

Between January 2017 and July 2018 she played Adeole on three seasons of the Mzansi Magic prison drama Lockdown.

In 2020 she joined the kykNET & kie soapie Arendsvlei for its third season in the role of Dorothy Galant, Bompie's (Jarrid Geduld) troublemaking mother.

In 2024 she had a recurring role as businesswoman Imelda Davis in the kykNET soapie Suidooster, making her first appearance in Season 10, Episode 115 (which aired on 9 September, 2024).
