Bio
Amanda Detmer is an American actress best known for her role as Deena Greco in the television drama series What About Brian, from 2006-2007.
She also starred as Brenda Hayden in the short-lived sitcom Man Up!, in 2011.
She attended California State University, Chico for her undergraduate education; deciding to complete her Master of Fine Arts from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts before seriously embarking on a career in show business.
She made her onscreen debut in 1995 with the television movie Stolen Innocence (1995), and her big screen debut playing Miss Minneapolis in the beauty pageant-set comedy Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999).
Detmer has also made notable film appearances in the feature films Final Destination (2000), Saving Silverman (2001), The Majestic (2001), Big Fat Liar (2002), You, Me and Dupree (2006) and American Crude (2007).
In television, she is a regular cast member of the drama series What About Brian. She has made guest appearances in Ryan Caulfield: Year One, M.Y.O.B., A.U.S.A., Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye, Miss Match and CSI: Miami.
She ranked #17 in Stuff magazine's "101 Sexiest Women" (2001).
