Neil McCarthy is a South African television personality, writer, producer and director, best known as a host of the magazine show Top Billing.
He was a writer on the television drama Mzansi, which he also produced and directed. He was head writer on another drama, Gaz'lam.
He has appeared in movies such as The Lost World and Return To The Lost World (1992) and Hotel Rwanda (2004).
He has a supporting role in the Canadian/South African co-production of television drama Jozi-H, and appears in the mini-series Society.
