Bio
Zenokuhle Maseko is a South African actress best known for her role as Mbali on the 1Magic soapie The River.
A graduate of Benoni High School, she auditioned for the role of Faith on the show (which went to Anele Zondo) and was cast as the recurring character of Mbali instead.
Making her first appearance in the role in the series premiere on 29 January, 2018, it was her first professional acting role, lasting two seasons.
During her time on The River, Zenokuhle landed another recurring role, this time as Aya on the SABC1 drama series Diamond City, first appearing in the series premiere on 14 October, 2018.
The show later aired on Netflix, in December 2020.
In 2021, Zenokuhle was one of the original cast of the SABC3 telenovela The Estate, which premiered on 5 April, 2021.
Her character, Sindi Phakathwayo, is Vuyo (Sdumo Mtshali) and Lwandle's (Jo-anne Reyneke) daughter who is pampered, sassy, independent and a dreamer, but feels the pressure to be the 'son' Vuyo never had.
