Michelle Fairley is an Irish actress best known for taking over the role of Mrs. Granger from Heather Bleasdale in the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows films; and for her starring role as Catelyn Stark in the fantasy drama television series Game of Thrones, from 2011-2013.

Fairley's film credits include Cup Cake, Chat Room, The Duel, The Others, Hideous Kinky, A Soldier's Daughter Never Dies and Hidden Agenda.
