CASTING Moshidi Motshegwa (The River, The Lab) joins Isono in the recurring role of agenda-driven villainess Sarah. She's hired by Pastor Abiola (Anthony Oseyemi) who's going to see dead people when Sarah exacts her revenge. She debuts on Tuesday 23 February and will be on the show until November.

CASTING TV newcomers Leroy Siyafa and Katishcka Chanderlal signed to South African Netflix series Blood & Water for Season 2, along with Alzavia Abrahams (Arendsvlei). Leroy plays Sam, a new love interest in the Parkhurst after school scene. Katishcka and Alzavia play Pauline and Zayd, besties to Reece (Greteli Fincham), whose role has been increased. O'Connor's backstory: he believes he could have been a professional athlete if it were not for an injury caused by stubbing his toe at his high school graduation. CASTING Three actors debut as new characters on Rhythm City this week: Kabelo Moalusi (Generations, The Queen), Mpho Sebeng (Ring of Lies, Zero Tolerance) and newcomer Limakatso Mokhiti. Kabelo plays Pastor Busang Makoro, who believes boozing and dating multiple girlfriends isn't a sin. Limakatso is Deaconess Sonto, an innocent "disciple" of the pastor's who discovers his true nature and Mpho plays hustler Mose Lebone, who claims to be Blossom's son.
