UFOs: The Lost Evidence 2

Channel: HISTORY (DStv 186)
TX Time: 20h15

UFOs: The Lost Evidence 2

The evidence that UFOs have tracked - and possibly influenced - modern man extends back thousands of years.

From the very first unexplained statues and symbols found deep in South America, to new imagery on the surface of Mars, the similarities in this body of evidence are compelling.

This series reveals the chilling accounts of current and former government officials, pilots, astronauts and astrophysicists, exposing new evidence of UFO contact as they examine fascinating mysteries.

Are the world's rapid technological innovations the result of human effort alone, or have extra-terrestrials gifted them to our planet?

Investigators reveal the secret history of US presidents and their knowledge of UFOs; do they know more than we think?

These are just some of the questions explored in the series, delving deep to examine an unsettling possibility: that man's contact with UFOs is deeper and more far-reaching than ever imagined.

Hoarders 8

Channel: SABC2
TX Time: 19h30
Genre: Reality

Hoarders 8

From the outside, their houses look normal. But inside a family is struggling to keep ahead of the insignificant things that have taken over their lives.

Items range from Christmas ornaments to tin foil to newspaper and bags of new clothing with tags still attached.

Each person has latched on to something different and can't seem to let go.

Depending upon the situation the show enlists the help of a therapist, a professional organiser, or a cleaning crew who guide the collectors through the clean-up process and give them the tools they need to keep their behaviour in check.

The show gives each hoarder a clean start and then follows up weeks later to find out if they have been able to keep their compulsive collecting at bay.

In the Season 8 premiere, "Judy": Judy's life is a dangerous one of severe contradictions.

She is an extreme germaphobe who spends her entire day engaged in sanitization rituals, yet she lives in a severe and extremely filthy hoard overridden with mice whom she considers her friends.

The situation is so hazardous to her health the fire department and health department have mandated a clean up.
