Life Below Zero: First Alaskans 3

Life Below Zero has given unprecedented access to the hardships that come with living in some of the most extreme conditions on Earth.

Now, the team is bringing audiences back to Alaska, following the Native peoples of the harsh landscape.

Enter a world that Indigenous Alaskans have inhabited for thousands of years, but one which is rapidly changing every day.

Life Below Zero: First Alaskans follows new Alaska Natives as they use sophisticated techniques and methods passed down from generation to generation to thrive in some of the most brutal environments.

Indigenous Alaskans walk in two worlds: one of traditional ways and one of 21st-century challenges.

In the Season 3 premiere, "How We Survive": Alaska Natives race the ticking clock of winter's arrival.

The Apassingok family brave the Bering Sea's ice floes on the hunt for marine mammals.

During the dark of night, Tig Strassburg travels frozen rivers in search of fur bearers.

Marvin Agnot teaches his young nephew how to hunt around Kodiak Island.

And Joel Jacko gets caught in a life-threatening storm.

Home of the Year Ireland 9

Home of the Year Ireland is back for a ninth season.

Over eight weeks, 21 homes will compete for the Home of the Year title, with three very different properties featured each week.

From restorations and new builds to renovations and re-design, Home of the Year features Irish locals who have created their dream homes.

This year returning judges, architect and founding partner of Douglas Wallace Consultants, Hugh Wallace; architect Amanda Bone; and interior designer Sara Cosgrove.

Looking for individuality, functionality and clever design, the three judges will each score the homes out of 10 and the home with the highest combined score in each programme will go through to the final, where the winner will be crowned.
