Maria believes she is losing her job, but later learns Isaac covered for her. Isaac then admits to Maria that he helped her and warns her not to make the same mistake again.

Faith walks into a house of broken plates. Zola lies and says he dropped the dishes by mistake, Zanele backs him, but Faith now clearly suspects something is going on.

Zola pleads with Zanele not to leave him because he will die without her, she cracks and decides to stay. Meanwhile Lulu agrees to tell Faith and Sandile the truth about Zola.

Soka and Sandile are out celebrating Soka's promotion. They are about to score with two pretty girls, but the girls see Soka's Skorokoro and run off.

Zola utterly humiliates Zanele and destroys her self-esteem. In her lowest moment, Zanele manages to reach Faith who shows up at the flat. Zanele braces herself as Faith and Zola gear up for a big fight.

Zanele approaches both Dorothy and Nkosi to accompany her to Zola's place to get her stuff. Both end up being too busy and Zanele ends up going to see Zola herself, which turns out to be a mistake.

Zola professes his love for Zanele, but the conversation takes a turn when she refuses to stay. Zola decides if he can't have Zanele, then no one can, and he intends to kill her and then himself.

Zanele confronts Zola about what he did, and she tells him she is pressing charges. Faith reassures Zanele that she is not to be blamed for what happened with Zola, he just took advantage of her.
