Ghost Brothers: Lights Out

What do you get when you combine a celebrity barber with two fashion designers, all with a strong curiosity in the unknown?

The first and only black paranormal crusaders seeking the truth in the spiritual realm.

All based in Atlanta, The Ghost Brothers - Dalen Spratt, Juwan Mass and Marcus Harvey - are flipping the switch in their new series Ghost Brothers: Lights Out.

The show follows the three best friends as they venture into the unknown.

As the dopest brothers on television hunting ghosts, these candid and unorthodox paranormal investigators explore disturbed hotspots across the country, checking out and sizing up local legends and supernatural stories.

They are ready to expose the haunted holdouts still hanging around these locations... and why they don't leave.

Marcus and Juwan kick off each investigation by entering haunted sites without any prior knowledge of the paranormal territory they are walking into.

Dalen, on the other hand, knows all the creepy history.

Observing from his own mission control centre, he guides his friends through the most active areas of the property.

Going in blind, Marcus and Juwan must discover for themselves what matches up with the legend and what does not.

Each member of the team has their distinct role: Dalen a.k.a. "The Bad Boy of Paranormal" is the risk taker; Juwan a.k.a. "Paranormal Poppy" is the suave, pretty boy of the group; and Marcus a.k.a. "The Soul Brother" brings a combination of heartwarming soul and comedy.

The trio strikes a healthy balance with Dalen bringing a sense of adventure, Marcus creating a bit more of a relaxed vibe, and Juwan adds the compassion.

The balance breathes a fresh point-of-view into the paranormal genre, a new perspective that fans think they know... but they do not.

In the series premiere, "Death Sentence": Dalen, Juwan and Marcus investigate the site of Louisiana's first double execution.

But as they dive into the murky waters of the old Beauregard Parish jail's murderous past, the resident spirits begin to tell an unexpected tale.

Ugliest House In America 3

Hosted by Retta - a comedian and actress known for her roles in Parks and Recreation - the new season will showcase tours of 15 properties nominated by homeowners who believe their design-challenged home is among the worst in the country.

During the season, Retta will share her hot takes and reviews of each horrendous property, commenting on wacky layouts, clashing designs and severely outdated styles.

Based on its ugly appearance, poor functionality and surprising design choices, one house will be deemed the "ugliest house in America" by HGTV and the network will award its homeowners $150,000 renovation completed by Alison Victoria, one of its top stars.

The stunning results will be revealed during a special one-hour finale episode on Friday, Jan. 6.

Throughout the new season, Retta will travel to five regions of the US to see the best of the worst and gleefully react to houses featuring all sorts of bad design, ranging from mural monstrosities and shellacked wood paneling to velvet wallpaper and garishly patterned wall-to-wall shag carpeting.

In the end, the home deemed "the ugliest" will be transformed from a beast into a beauty.

In the Season 3 premiere, "Northeast Nightmares": Three ugly homes in the Northeast square off for a chance at a $150,000 makeover from HGTV designer Alison Victoria.

From a disjointed house built out of cylindrical towers to a home that's buried in angel decor, only one will make the finals.

In the second episode of the weekly double bill, "Midwest Monstrosities": Retta tours three ugly homes in the Midwest that are competing for the chance at a $150,000 makeover.

From a ramshackle Victorian built a hundred years too late to a home with hideous hand-painted murals in every room, only one will make the finals.
