Working alongside divers, wreck investigators and archaeologists, the series tells the stories of the final moments of ships and those on board as they meet disaster.

Unpicking the evidence of the wreckage with state of the art CGI and the latest underwater technology and combining it with powerful personal testimony brings out the a human side of these tragedies as well as revealing the answers to the questions of what happened and why.

The series also explores submarine accidents including three different German U-Boat wrecks like UC-66, the first U-Boat to be sunk by a plane.

In the series premiere, "Assassins of the Deep": We explore three different German U-Boat wrecks from the First and Second World War with marine archaeologist Dr Innes McCartney.

In the story of UC66, we learn how it was the first German U-Boat to be sunk by a plane.

In the story of U-Boat U87 we hear how it was sunk after it was rammed by an Allied ship.

The final story follows the sinking of U-Boat U480, the world's first stealth sub.

At the end of Season 2, Spencer decides to return to South Crenshaw High for his senior year with Billy Baker by his side as the new head coach.

Together, their plan is to bring home a football championship to save the school.

However, in Season 3 that may prove difficult as the high stakes of the Beverly/Crenshaw rivalry become very personal now that it's friend versus friend, and father versus son.

Furthermore, the medical mystery surrounding Spencer's injured arm will not only significantly affect his game on the field, but also his relationships off the field too, as they all try to navigate a very complicated, secret-filled senior year at both Beverly and South Crenshaw.

In the Season 3 premiere, "Seasons Pass": Spencer finds himself on the defence after an interview he gave comes out, upsetting his old teammates and emotions get the best of them.

Coop and Layla return from tour, but while Coop tries to figure out what happened with Patience, she tries to learn why Tyrone's sister is back.

Billy is excited for a fresh start at South Crenshaw High, but he must confront something from his past first that could be a roadblock to his success.

Meanwhile, Jordan and Simone struggle with saying goodbye to someone they love.

In the series premiere, "The Stranger": As Tariq begins his new life at Stansfield University, he's torn between two worlds: doing as his mother said and living his life as a normal college kid; or doing what she taught him - hustling product.
