One Day Leader 8
Six young people showcase their leadership skills by tackling modern-day South African social, economic and political issues as a way of competing for the title of One Day Leader.
The show tells the story of the evolution of these six young people from ordinary young people into the epitome of the future youth leaders of our country.
One Day Leader is a reality format that aims to identify and develop young leaders, between the ages of 18 and 25, while engaging the public and creating awareness around critical social and economic issues.
For South Africa to reach its developmental goals, and address its many social issues, it will need strong leadership: not only now, but well into the future.
The idea behind One Day Leader is not to criticise current leaders or forms of leadership.
Instead the show aims to encourage young and bright minds to come up with innovative ways of addressing issues, while exposing them to the kinds of challenges and difficulties leaders are faced with.
The show is presented by Pearl Shongwe with judges Ndumiso Hadebe and Gugu Mhlungu.

Do they have what it takes to cash in on the real estate market? Or will they break the bank?
In the Season 8 premiere, "Bugging Out Over Beams": A married couple flips a gutted ranch-style home in Owasso, Oklahoma.
The discovery of termite damage puts this flip behind schedule and over budget from the start.
