A Perfect Lie

A Perfect Lie is a story based loosely on the American drama series Revenge, about a confident, rich and beautiful young woman called Durga Thakur.

She encounters the Goenka family and their youngest son, Shaurya, a spoilt brat who comes from a really rich family and who is not used to taking "no" for an answer.

Shaurya makes a bet with his friends that he can win Durga over.

His parents, Sakshi and Rajnath Goenka, always stand by his side no matter what - but they are uaware of the fact that Durga is out for revenge...

It turns out that Shaurya and his friends once raped a mental patient called Payal Mitra. And it is also revealed that Durga is actually Payal's sister Nitya, who wanted justice for her sister two years ago but was thwarted by Sakshi and Rajnath, who bribed all the witnesses so that Nitya lost the case.

This made Payal go mad and her parents commit suicide. So Nitya threatened to one day make the Goenkas pay for what they did.

The Goenkas got scared and tried to kill Nitya in an accident in which she lost her face. Dr. Dayal Thakur found her and gave her the face of his dead daughter Durga.

Now Nitya is back as Durga Thakur and wants revenge on the Goenka family. She and Dayal start to destroy everyone who made her suffer.
