Barnwood Builders 4
Fine Living (StarSat 281)
Reality, Home Improvement, DIY, Reality Makeover
Mark Bowe and his fun-loving crew of West Virginia master craftsmen salvage antique barns and cabins, reusing the wood to then create stunning, modern homes.
As this series reveals, these guys are devoted to salvaging and will stop at nothing to give 200-year-old structures new life, providing entertainment, inspiration and awe along the way.
And the projects in this season are more ambitious than ever.
The guys float down the Ohio river to save a little cabin in a big quarry in Paducah, Kentucky; toil through a sizzling heatwave to kit out an Arizona restaurant using the barnwood from a huge Pennsylvania bank bar; and dissemble a 150-year-old carriage house that's full of treasures on a Pennsylvania farm.
Every job is unique, and the gang is ready for any challenge in this series, which celebrates the American pioneer spirit, paying tribute to the hard work and craftmanship that went into building the nation.
In the Season 4 premiere, "The Cabin in the Quarry": The Barnwood Builders float down the Ohio River and land in Paducah, Kentucky, where they try to save a little cabin in a big quarry.
The cabin is in rough shape, but these guys don't give up on it.
Their time in Paducah is filled with pioneer ingenuity: Alex Makes a chair, Johnny drives a dump truck, Sherman makes a quilt and Mark helps build a barnwood table.
