Yvonne's scheming'licious ways face a new opponent on Scandal! next month when she comes up against the mother of a problem: Mam' Lulama, Siseko's mom.
She's played by SAFTA Lifetime Achievement Award winner Nomhle Nkonyeni, whose multiple TV credits include roles on Mzansi Magic's Igazi, SABC1's Mzansi, Society and Home Affairs.
Word from Scandal! is that she's going to be all over the Boniswa/Yvonne sitch, and has the voomah to do it.
She's a strong, traditional Xhosa matriarch who doesn't mess around when it comes to dealing with the likes of Yvonne. She's a stern disciplinarian - and she's bittttter about her past.
It's a recurring role so her presence will linger and impact when she's out of the picture too. She'll be on air for two months after her debut and remains in Yvonne's consciousness from then onwards and could pop back anytime.
She debuts on Wednesday, 5 July.
