The government has approved the merger of SG and Haines International but Nikiwe and other shareholders didn’t expect the shock they receive when new shareholders walk in.
Ofentse has paid the hundred thousand Angelique wants; it is a shock for Sechaba and Lerato as to how deep Ofentse’s pockets are. But this has helped make Sechaba positive again; they are going to win this fight. And Angelique is working hard on it.

Nikiwe offers to buy Benjamin and Ofentse’s shares for double, even triple of what they paid for them; but they decline. The rot happening at the mine hostel comes to light and Sechaba decides it’s time a new mine hostel caretaker is appointed.

Rajesh plots his revenge against Barker. Nikiwe disappoints Gabriel when she tells him how she really feels. Matlala is surprised Hendrik wants the job he wants.

Rajesh receives delicate information about Barker’s shady deals. Gabriel is not too pleased when Nikiwe pays no attention to the preparation of the Rec launch. The short-listed candidates for the caretaker position are announced.

Rajesh realizes Basetsana could be the key to taking down Barker. Nkadimeng urges Sechaba to swallow his pride and take the money. Nikiwe vanishes without a trace.

Gabriel is livid when Nikiwe walks out on him and doesn’t return. Basetsana gives a puzzled Rajesh the cold shoulder. When her parents return early, Anja is so bust.

Gabriel is apologetic about what happened last night; he wants it to stay between the two of them. Nikiwe doesn’t even know what to think anymore. But Gabriel isn’t letting go, he nags about Nikiwe’s whereabouts when he had the Rec opening.
Ofentse is bothered by the news about his father. Confronting Basetsana doesn’t help; it leaves him even more confused. Benjamin warns him to be careful about what he finds; he might not be able to face it.
