Coming up in its first two weeks on air:

Episode 1

The Chosen Ones

The series begins with a flashback to Justice Mohapi, 46, aka The Cobra. He is in the ring, winning the world heavyweight championship from Toni Bennito.

Flashback to now and Justice offers to spar anybody for sponsorship for his new African Sports Academy. He gets a taker for R500K.

In the crowd are Tladi and Lehasa, interested in Justice's girls: Botho (responsible and engaged to coach Greg Bliss) and Ashanti (wild, back from US, hates ASA), and Warona, who raised them when their mother died.

At a sponsorship party, athletes Mack, Tongai, Issac, Mbazo, and others, dreams burning in their eyes, obsess over Ashanti. Greg starts a bet on who can bed her first. Justice punches T and loses the sponsorship.

We also meet Tladi and Lehasa's mother, ruthless businesswoman Mmamosa Letsie, closing a deal that destroys a small business. We learn of her diabolical plan to destroy Justice.

The Thrill Of The Hunt

The ASA launch gets good press but Justice is depressed that the brawl lost him the sponsorship and he makes dark threats about Tladi and Lehasa. Warona is concerned that Greg is wrong for Botho.

Issac beats Mack in a sprint and draws Ashanti's interest. Botho warns her not to toy with him because he's had enough trauma from when he was a child solder.

Lehasa reports ASA's debts to Mmamosa. She offers to invest.

For The Love Of The Game

ASA's lights go off.

Working Out

ASA can't get sponsors because they have too many male athletes. Lehasa suggests Ashanti and flirts with her. Tladi tries to join ASA. Botho refuses him until he hands her a cheque. She shows it triumphantly to Lehasa and wonders, are they brothers?

Tladi and Tongai bond over the Ashanti bet. Tladi is useless at all the sports and Justice scorns him.

The Closer You Get

We learn about Issac's traumatic life as a boy soldier in S. Sudan. Ashanti chats up Lehasa. Botho offers Eshe a stipend to join ASA. Lehasa punts a private backer to pay for it. Eshe arrives at ASA and Greg chats her up.
