Really now, when was Ntombi supposed to tell George that she's HIV positive?
If you watched last night's episode of Intersexions then you are in tune.

If you were not watching, then here's a brief synopsis

Ntombi, thriving on ARVs, moves to Johannesburg and falls in love with George. Their friends encourage them to be honest with each other: Ntombi about her HIV status, and George about his girlfriend, Lindi. But then a mix-up threatens their budding relationship

Intersexions Ep 22

Fair enough Ntombi was dating her boss but George seemed dodgy from the word go. He would always lead her on, then leave her high and dry.

Again. It was George who initiated that they take a break... At work. Maybe if Ntombi didn't react in shock, the "at work" may have been left out. (playa instinct)

I feel Ntombi over-reacted when Lindi demanded that George contact her. As soon as Lindi said she was a mere waitress, Ntombi should have hit back and added "And also his girlfriend. So, who are you to him?"

Ntombi, Lindi and most women always protect their cheating men:

*When Lindi asked George about the waitress, his hesitation gave him away
*Lindi had access to George's phone. What more evidence could a woman want?
*Lindi suspected that George had another woman in the house. The pink bra was enough proof but... she still chose to believe his lies
*Lindi caught them red handed and again chose to believe the ridiculous Gloria story 

                                                        THEN...

*Clearly, Ntombi hasn't learnt anything from the likes of MaVukuvuku
*Everything George said, she did without question
*Ntombi blew it when she jumped out of bed and allowed George to throw her out, via the back door. She didn't ask anything, she just fled like a thief. Mxm 
*Ironically, she's the one that resigns from her job because of George. (This is where I went WTH??? )
*Then when she got the perfect opportunity to shame George, she agrees that she's Gloria. (I just threw in the towel!!! lol)  
*The sly George then turns the table on Ntombi, making it about her "sickness" So, when was she supposed to tell him about her status?

Honestly, they shouldn't even bother being friends. 


That's my venting. So, what are your thoughts on last night's episode?

With George n Ntombi its an issue of the coal callin the pot black.they both shud have been honest frm the start.bt then again u dont wake up n say hi im hiv +ve her timing was right jus dat the cheatin bastard was too busy makin himself look gud wit Lindi.bt then the whole Gloria thing Ntombi shud have reacted.

I just like Putla Sehlapelo (George) , he is a great actor and the fact that he is Pedi puts the cherry on top. What's even nice is that in real life he is such a humbled guy and very friendly.

True dat we ladies believe everything our men tell us like my ex boyfriend I will find messages from girls and when I asked him he will call them in front of me and tell them that they must stop calling him  it took a friend to tell me what I already do know that I must just leave him .

I was watching with my girlfriend and we both said she shouldn't have agreed to jump through the window or the whatever back door. But again, my girlfriend said if you are still new you will just do it because things are just happening and you don't the what and why. Based on what my girlfriend said, I forgave the writers and producers for that part.

The sly George then turns the table on Ntombi, making it about her "sickness" So, when was she supposed to tell him about her status?
For me Pru, I think the story was trying to show that as much as you see fault in your partner (I mean in real life and any other relationship and not that cheating saga) 1st take stock of your own faults before you can dump all the blame on other people. Essentially, for me, that relationship wasn't supposed to be in the first place because it wasn't built on honesty.

I just like Putla Sehlapelo (George) , he is a great actor and the fact that he is Pedi puts the cherry on top. yupp, ke dumelelana le wena samma. He is an amazing actor. What's even nice is that in real life he is such a humbled guy and very friendly. ... this gives him an extra point in humble book

I think she has learned Pru, she was resposnible, George was the irresponsible one. And it kinda sadly goes to show, even as experienced by many people, you are screwed in the previous relationship, tell yourslef you will not allo that to happen again, yet the next relationship you still get screwed, and the next and the next...we have seen it too many a times. Certainly, in those cases, the people involved that keep getting fooled and screwed are doing something wrong?..but they certainly dont go out looking to be screwed, they want something better, do something dofferent from the previous mess of a relationship hoping this time it will be alryt, kanti with a new person comes new ills that you may not have preconceived etc etc.

Ya, she shouldnt have jumped out. She didnt sneak in there, she was under the imprtession she is the only one. I remember thinking...if i were Ntombi, i would have INSISTED of walking out the front door as i entered, i would have made the girlfriend to stop screaming at me and tried to make her realise we have both being wronged. ...well that is if the girlfriend was sane and reasonabel bcos some just go for that hot grits/ hot water and go for the "other girl" without understanding the situation. And this i say for this situation where Ntombi didnt walk into this relationship knowing she was the other girl..they were both dubed.

PSSS: When George was telling his friend he is inlove with two women i recalled one of my old time fav song...Lost boyz - me and my crazy world..."i cant escape this life that im living...im in the misx im in love with 2 women..bla bla"..used to love this song and i was just too little to be loving such a song....along with "romeo and juliet", the rap song.....heee....*smh*....lol.

mina I think Ntombi and George love each other, the timing nje was not on their side, they got caught up in this whirlwind of love, but then again when is the right tym to fall in love.

George had to lie to protect his galfrnd, they obviously have been together for a while he wouldn't just choose Ntombi considering they've been 2geda for a short while, let them separate and if he feels that the love he has for ntombi is too strong, then he'll leave his galfriend & b with her.

there r just so many rules to relationships and somtyms those rules dnt work for all of us

Ntombi did not owe anybody any explanation you don't meet a person and suddenly you say HI I AM POSITIVE unless really if you are ready to let the world know then go ahead and talk about it. Banna don't talk about their partners they either say we are in a process of separation or we have problems blah blah blah my advice DONT LISTEN TO HIM JUST MAKE YOUR DECISION AND LET THE GIRLFRIEND KNOW then one should decide between the three eish I need to write more mara ke busy ka something

i gues we girls want to believe the best from our man thats y we believe all the lies they tell us. as for Ntombi i think she was crazy to run out like i would have stayed i know ke lefsiha i cant stand fighting but i would have told George to go to hell in front of his GF.

I wish I worked for Intersexions. They've got some creative brains. I read the synopsis just after 7pm & posted it. Then edited the article after the show.

I also agree wid Green i was also watching thumbs-up for Ntombi the gal was very responsible frm the start ,she tried to warn the guy, she had all the chances and means to infect George but deep down inside her heart she kept on saying how am gonna contront him??? Honestly its reali hard to reveal  ur status just like that the timing was not perfect since George was moving too fast we all saw that she couldn't even talk ,eventually she knew it was gonna cost her that job,not to mention loosing someone as handsome as George,  and sometimes if u r blinded by love its reali hard to determine Love and Lust, most men like George cheat simply because their galfriends are very insecured and they control them for an example Lindi was more like a WIFE then a galfriend i dnt understand why they not married

I lolled at the bra that got caught by the branch and the 2 retrieving it, suddenly umama wasekhaya arrives, ubaba wasekhaya tells a lie. What was Ntombi supposed to do, tell the truth and be thrown off the balcony, i would have pretended to be Gloria from up stairs, who wears a pink bra. Who wants to expereince the wrath of a scorned woman. Kanti that lawyer, remember her from the first few episodes, she slept with that DJ Mo, i thought she also contracted the virus since Mo was sleeping with every girl. Imagine you are sleeping and there is a loud bang at the door, lunatic has arrived what would you, stand there and be drowned in a pot of boil oil, or run for dear life.

Honestly, when you go out with a married man or who is in a relationship, the woman will never confront the man or hate him, she will attack the woman, even you tell that you had no idea bhuti was married. Reason why Ntombi almost fell off that balcony.

Lindi was featured on the first episode in which she slept with Mandisa's husband aka law eagle...it just gets to show how this chain is way to long than Nile river combined with Amazon river...now I think Ntombi has slept with that colleague of hers ko restaurant and Lindi too slept with according to the people whom their previous lovers have slept with.

My attention was caught when Ntombi and George talked about sickness but both of them were not on the same page in actual fact.

Ladies sometimes become so dull that it is irritating..Ntombi agreed to be called Gloria by George so that he can hide his *bleep!*....Ntombi must have outed the bastard...

All in all the show is awesome and eye-opening week in week out...George really rocked me with his Sepedi plus mentioning Solomondale..
