7de Laan

what loss would we be at if all of a sudden the South African soapies (with the exception of Isidingo) stopped playing? nothing i think.... it's nothing but poor story lines and bad acting. there is no plot and half the time i think they just shoot what feels appropriate for that day. no thought is put in them,no intrigue or drama.take 7de laan for instance... i used to like the soapie but now it is just stupid... notice how it's always summer in 7de laan? and when there is a party the guests arrive at the same time... all of them just flock in...and the lame jokes that everyone think are soooo funny... GET A NEW SCRIPT WRITER!!! i keep watching it hoping that they will evantually get their act together but it's all in vain.and the wadrobe leaves much to be desired... where do they get the clothes from???? Salvation Army??? do they even have a stylist. i always imagine their wadrobe to be the same setup we had at school for drama class...they look like a bunch of clowns... Felicity, Aggie, Isabelle... and the hair and make-up.. Vanessa needs to get rid of that thing on her head???? i'm sure the soap can organize a different wig for her i mean how expensive can a wig be? R100? remember when she had the same braids for almost a year? and as if the hair issue isn't enough she has to be in that Deli outfit of theirs... and thank goodness for Madel leaving, her hair was starting to make me see RED!
all that i ask is for plot to make a little bit of sense, intrigue and humour, the wadrobe to be made decent.

Well Reefer, I happen to like 7de Laan, it doesn't take itself too seriously and its funny and can be serious when it needs to be.
