Teasers – August 2007

Wed 1 Aug Episode 2134
The Matabanes advise Zeb to act swiftly and, as a result, he makes a public announcement to the media and the community in The Rec. Frank tells Natasha that he and Calvin will move out tomorrow. Lee confronts Alec about his potential frustration in the hotel.

Thurs 2 Aug Episode 2135
When Zeb’s TV interview is watched at The Rec he seems convincing, but Lolly tells Len it was only after many takes and much editing. Natasha realizes Nikki’s issues are much broader than they seem. Alec gets a call from Jericho, who offers him a three-week job in Chad.

Fri 3 Aug Episode 2136
Zebedee Matabane faces his public for the first time, but it is George Zamdela who seduces the citizens with his charisma. Natasha pleads with Nikki to change her mind about her relationship with Frank. When a journalist witnesses Alec summarily evicting informal vendors, Lee loses her temper with him.

Mon 6 Aug Episode 2137
George and Slu wine and dine a journalist from the Golden Herald, feeding him food and heroic Zamdela spin. Natasha realizes Nikki’s fear of adulthood stems from her experiences with Phil in London. Manqoba tells Lee they need to host a fundraiser and establish a micro business-training centre for the vendors on The Deep

Tues 7 Aug Episode 2138
Agnes tells the Matabane family she is uncertain about their ideas, and turns to God for help. Troy arrives to see Nikki and plants a seed of doubt in his daughter’s mind. Manqoba is a little shocked when Lee tells him that the skills development project is to go ahead with Q in charge.

Wed 8 Aug Episode 2139
Agnes recruits her Zionist friends to distribute her manifesto pamphlet to all the houses in the township. Frank and Natasha return to find Calvin and Nikki in a passionate clinch. Orlando tells Lee that they need a new receptionist, and Lee asks Vusi if he has any suggestions.

Thurs 9 Aug Episode 2140
Letti drops a bombshell in Agnes’s absence. She is going to sing at George’s shebeen opening tomorrow night. Nikki tells Natasha that Calvin has been coming on to her for ages, and Natasha is appalled. Stella tries to get Maggie to buy one of the plates for the charity dinner that Q duped her into buying.

Fri 10 Aug Episode 2141
George and Slu prepare for the official opening of George’s new tavern, and George makes preposterous claims about his part in the struggle. After mature consideration, Franks backs Calvin’s version of the truth. Q impresses Lee with the money he’s raised although she bridles when he gets too intimate.

Mon 13 Aug Episode 2142
Zeb and family are horrified that George seems to have got Letti’s support for his campaign. Nikki admits Calvin’s’ version of events are true, and that she wanted to sabotage the new situation and go back to being alone with her mother. Maggie is convinced Stella has a drinking problem.

Tues 14 Aug Episode 2143
George Zamdela encourages the voters by singing a little song: “umshini wami, umshini wami, khawuleth' umshini wami.” Troy tells Natasha that he has been offered a job in Sydney, and that Nikki wants to go with him to Australia. Lee urges Alec to go and help his friend in Chad.

Wed 15 Aug Episode 2144
Agnes insists she won’t ask for a recount without evidence, and George explains to Slu that if anyone needs his help, a cash payment will always ensure timely assistance. Natasha reads the letter Nikki has left explaining what has happened. Len is looking forward to Farrow’s return.

Thurs 16 Aug Episode 2145
George’s initial overweening confidence is dented when the first, and then more fake ballot papers are uncovered. Farrow becomes unduly concerned about a plate that Paul has failed to put in the sink. Frank advises Natasha to give Nikki space but Natasha can’t resist leaving a message on Nikki’s voicemail.

Fri 17 Aug Episode 2146
General Essien is charming and even saves Sibu from being completely beaten up by his guards. Lolly comes to interview Agnes and Agnes realizes this is it; her life is about to change. Farrow has re-packed the fridge and bosses Paul around about where to put things.

Mon 20 Aug Episode 2147
Alec works out exactly how he was lured into Essien’s clutches. Barker asks for Frank’s assessment of ON!TV, as compared to AfriCast, and Frank senses that Barker has an agenda. Maggie and Paul find Farrow a little obsessive compulsive, and resolve to talk to Len about it.

Tues 21 Aug Episode 2148
General Essien spells out what lies ahead: he intends to kill Sibu, have Jericho’s daughter gang raped, and then shoot Jericho. Palesa examines her extensive scrap on Barker, Lee and Haines International. Paul complains to Maggie about Farrow, who has taken it upon herself to reorganize his clothes cupboard.

Wed 22 Aug Episode 2149
Amidst the anguished screams of the prisoner, Jericho accuses Alec of being responsible for killing Sibu. Barker suggests a merger of ON! and AfriCast to Siyanda, who doubts it would work. Farrow asks Maggie if her tidying up is causing trouble and Maggie gets a little mischievous.

Thurs 23 Aug Episode 2150
Essien reminds the prisoners that unless Alec tells him the account number and pin code, Sibu will die in eight hours time. Barker tells Frank that he is interested in creating a merger between AfriCast and ON!TV, if Frank will head up the new organization. Len faces the prospect of household chores.

Fri 24 Aug Episode 2151
Rajesh is worried about what Barker is up to, and why he is buying up ON!TV shares. Essien receives a phone call from Lee, who reveals that there’s a radio-detonated bomb under Essien’s desk. Maggie and Paul are ragging Len, and Farrow is feeling excluded because she doesn’t share their history.

Mon 27 Aug Episode 2152
When he hears that Essien’s shipment of arms has disappeared, Alec realizes that Lee has given Essien the very thing he was trying to avoid. Frank supports Rajesh on the surface, but is inwardly torn, as he has already become an unwilling ally of Barker Haines. Farrow confides her fears, and Maggie is determined to help

Tues 28 Aug Episode 2153
Barker interviews Palesa, and agrees to take her on, as an unpaid intern, for two weeks. Zeb phones Refiloe, and learns that an inyanga has said that the boy will only recover if he is introduced to his Matabane ancestors. With Maggie’s support, Farrow opens an account, and buys a range of inappropriate clothing for her man.

Wed 29 Aug Episode 2154
Lee finally makes up her mind and goes to Rajesh and tells him she is resigning as CEO of ON!TV. Refiloe is determined and has already spoken to Zeb’s uncle Josias, so the matter is already out of Zeb’s hands. Maggie secretly thinks that Farrow could do better, but when she sees how much Farrow cares about Len she decides to interfere.

Thurs 30 Aug Episode 2155
Rajesh tells Frank to think about the possibility of taking over Rajesh’s old job of head of programming. Zeb tells Maggie about his problems with Refiloe and Lefa, and is quick to regret his rashness. Len and Farrow have made up, and it seems like Farrow is becoming part of the Horizon Deep family.

Fri 31 Aug Episode 2156
Maggie is finally swayed after talking to Mavis, who explains how sick a child can become if not properly introduced to his ancestors, and Refiloe is invited to stay. Barker tells Palesa he plans to force Rajesh to withdraw as CEO of ON! Alec finally emerges from Lee’s suite, dressed and ready to leave.

No matter how boring GENERATIONS becomes people still watch it, but why is it different with ISIDINGO. Am 1 of those who dont watch it anymore.

The writers need to do a bit of reseach to find out where they are going wrong

well guys everything has it's ups & downs. I mean ppl/actors can't always be on a high, sumtyms they need 2 b a bit relaxed. Since isidingo  likes keeping it real, thats xactly what their doin, nothing on earth is always 100% exciting unless it's got a bit of cocaine in it. The excitement will come again believe me it will, so just hang in there guys.
